That text is actually very old. The mixmod switch (-m) was removed from release
2.1dev8 (20020513). This option was only used for selecting the multithreaded
engine that was added to ecasound sometime in 1999 (1.0.x releases). The
threaded engine implementation was dropped as a failed design experiment from
release 1.8.4d15 (20001107), but the -m option lived on... until now the last
reference to it will be removed from 2.4.1. :)
