this summing mode is great (and in my opinion the more intuitive
behavior), thank you!
somehow a "-m" option (below) ended up in the ecasound-iam man page (of
the above-mentioned snapshot, at least). i am assuming this is not an
alias, just an accident which was meant to be "-z", or is it?
