alsahw:1,0 to be correct?

Where do you find this? For ecasound, it should be

alsa,hw:x,y where x is card number (fot how many cards you have; see
aplay -l) and y is subdevice for this card. I don't know about SB Live's
subdevices, but if SB is card 1, then

ecasound -i foo.wav -o alsa,hw:1

should be enough.
