And if this should not help (I'm not really sure if Ecasound obeys
LADSPA_PATH) edit your ~/.ecasound/ecasoundrc file.
If you don't have this file copy the one from
/usr(/local)/share/ecasound.
Look for the line ladspa-plugin-directory = ...
... is a ':' separated list of directories.
Make sure that it includes /usr/lib/ladspa.
