Subject: record only part of session

Hello,

How can I write only part of a session to an output file?

From reading the docs on .ewf it looks like this is only possible for
input. i.e the docs say:

    * source - audio object name [read,write]
    * offset - insert audio object at offset (seconds) [read,write]
    * start-position - start offset inside audio object (seconds) [read]
    * length - how much of audio object data is used (seconds) [read]
    * looping - whether to loop sample data (true or false) [read]

which appears to indicate the length can only be set for read/input
objects.

I have a multi-track session set up via a .ecs file (attached). The
session runs for 907s. I want to write an output file of 300s length
starting at an offset somewhere between 0s and 607s.

Is an ewf what I need for this?

Thanks,
Eric Rz.
