Thanks Adam,

but what I want to eventually do is to write a small application that loops
over a part of a track so I would like to use IAM if possible. That way
whatever I do in IAM is really easy to turn into code.

The idea is to build a kind of phrase training app to aid when learing stuff
by ear from cd's
