Subject: playback overrun problem

Hi all,
I installed ecasound as well as alsa from cvs.
All seems fine, but when i attempt to record
from alsa i get this strange error;
ecasound -i:alsahw,0,0 -o:test.wav
...
(audioio-alsa) warning! playback overrun - samples lost! Break was at least 0.09 ms long.
etc. and the file test.wav stays emtpy (except the headers)
(Kernel is 2.4.20 with low-latency patch, dma enabled)
