Just compiled ecasound 2.2.0 on a new Linux box (RedHat 8.0 - 2.4.18-14smp
using oss pro drivers on SBLive cards) & everything seems to work fine,
except for fade-outs. If I use this command line:

ecasound -i /audio/31818.mp3 -o
/dev/dsp8 -ea:100 -kl:1,0,100,4 -ea:100 -kl2:1,100,0,10,2 -eca:72,0.5,0.25,0
.5

ecasound chops off the audio at the beginning of the fade, & then waits
w/out exiting. The fade-in is processed normally. I get an error on startup:
