Hi List!

I was wondering whether somebody can help me solving the problem of
addressing single channels on a soundcard.
To say it from the other side: I want to catch an incoming signal, work on it
and put it back on the same path to allow other programs further use. Is
there a way to do this or do I have to create new datastream besides e.g.
/dev/dsp for further use?
