Kai,
It was all a matter of defining <iostream.h>. ecasound 2.04 built fine now with aRts support.

Kai,

(doh!) sorry 2.0.4. I don't have CVS setup yet, as I have been one of the unfortunates with a 3 year MSN contract through Best Buy, and MSN does NOT like being accessed through software other than MSN 6.0. (grrr!) Therefore, I don't have the 2.1 dev-CVS version. I'll check out defining <iostream> and see how that goes.

I'll check this out and try it. although, is that 'std::cerr' correct, or should it be 'std:cerr'?
Thanks, and I'll let you know what happens.
Justin
