From the resource files. You don't seem to have a valid
"default-audio-format" entry (/usr/share/ecasound/ecasoundrc and
/root/.ecasound/ecasoundrc). Ecasound (re-)uses the chainsetup parser to
interpret the resource file entry so it adds a "-f:" in front of it and
passes it to the parser.
A good question is that should encode add yet another default
to the ecasound binary for these kinds of situations... not nice, but
might be needed.
