I suspect you got the error from the ALSA plugin. The last time I checked,
ALSA didn't support floating-point formats, and in the above you're trying
to open alsa,dsp1 in 32bit-float format. If this has changed recently,
I'll have to update the ALSA plugin.

For wav-files, however, f32_le should work fine. Trying changin the above
to "-a:1,2 -f:s32_le,2,44100 -o alsa,dsp1".
