Hmm. To me this seems like some mess-up between the read/write modes of
ewf. What version are you using? Can you give some more specifics on this
one? (what is the simplest possible commandline with which you
can observe this behaviour? how does the new offset time in the file vary
depending on the runtime or other things? etc.)
