The above ALSA plugins are for 0.6/0.9, not for 0.5.x. So make sure you
are really running the recompiled version of ecasound.

When ecasound's ALSA 0.5.x plugins are working correctly, aio-register
list should include 'alsa_05' and 'alsaplugin_05'.
