Subject: [ecasound] qtecasound segfaults/ won't compile

Hi,
I'm really looking forward to trying qtecasound, but haven't been
successful.
I am running RedHat 7.1 w/ SGI XFS (2.4.2 kernel). I installed
ecasound-2.0.2-1 and the qtecasound-0.1dev6-1.i386.rpm package. When I
tried running qtecasound, it gave me a segmentation fault and core
dumped. I tried:
rpm --recompile qtecasound-0.1dev6-1.src.rpm
and it gave me the following error:
chainsetup.o: In function `QEChainsetup::select_chains(void)':
chainsetup.o(.text+0x1225): undefined reference to
`ECA_CONTROL_OBJECTS::select_chains(vector<basic_string<char,
string_char_traits<char>, __default_alloc_template<true, 0> >,
allocator<basic_string<char, string_char_traits<char>,
__default_alloc_template<true, 0> > > > const &)'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.6118 (%build)
RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.6118 (%build)
When I try to compile from the tarball, during make I get the same error
at the same spot. (Sorry, I'm not a programmer...)
What do I need to do to get qtecasound working?
Thanks in advance.
