Hi:

When I try to record to an mp3 file I get an error:

[root@localhost experiments]# ecasound -i /dev/dsp16 -o test.mp3

your ~/.ecasoundrc.

I'm running this as root, & there's lots of disk space. Lame runs fine on
its own. I tried adding the full path to lame to .ecasoundrc but that didn't
help - neither did setting the lame options to the exact ones I use
successfully all the time.

Any ideas?

thanks
-bg
