Subject: [ecasound] ecawave fadein/fadeout bug

The fadein and fadeout operations in ecawave seem to misjudge the start
and end positions, respectively, of the selected region. If the region
to be faded in is less than a couple of seconds long, the fadein doesn't
start at zero volume - it starts from a higher volume the shorter the
region is. With fadeouts, it tends to go to zero too soon and leave a
chunk of un-faded audio at the end.
