How about adding a shell script called ecasound-iam which is just a wrapper for
ecasound with the appropriate options to startup interactive mode ?
It's only my opinion because I don't use the interactive mode very much.
I use ecawave for interaction <g>.
I like the default behavior of ecasound dumping out usage when given no arguments.
But this is my opinion.
