Ok, when using audio stamps, ecasound doesn't colour or mark the
passing audio. Instead, passing traffic is really duplicated, and stored
in to a different physical location. These locations contain space only for
one audio buffer, so new audio stamps always replace the previous stamp.

Yes, this is exactly what -eS does. In addition, you can freely choose
the place where audio stamp is taken. So if you put -eS before -efl,
you'll grab the audio before filtering, and similarly, if after -efl,
you capture the filtered audio.
