Subject: [ecasound] oss driver

When I try to record, it doesn't work right. Specifically, I get a warning
message that the oss driver didn't like the suggested sample rate of 44117
and is going to use 44100 instead. Sometimes I get pops on my audio output
and nothing records. There is the output file, but it is silence.
I'm wondering if the oss/lite driver that is part of the kernel is/is not
adequate for ecasound?
