Hmm, you could try fetching a clean tree and then running
the 'cvscompile' script that now comes with the cvs (basicly
runs "automake ; autoconf ; etc etc ; ./configure" ...

I'll have to check this. It might be that it only compiles
with ALSA 0.6.x (once its correctly identified). I'm at
work at the moment, so I can't check.

It's included (audioio-alsa3.{cpp,h}).
