The rtnull device appears to complain all the time about underruns

(audioio-rtnull) Underrun occured!
(audioio-rtnull) Underrun occured!
(audioio-rtnull) Underrun occured!
(audioio-rtnull) Underrun occured!
(audioio-rtnull) Underrun occured!
(audioio-rtnull) Underrun occured!

there is an audible dropout when this happens. I am using mpg123 to read
from a file and playing it with ecasound, moving backwards and forwards to
avoid commercials. If the buffer is anything other than 1024, too big and
mpg123 won't start. too little and ecasound complains of rtnull problems.
