This version should still be considered beta. While usable, some parts
- like for instance qtecasound - are under heavy development.

--- Changes since last releaseA lot has happened since the last stable release: support for ALSA looback and raw-MIDI devices; resampling; new ecatools package which contains a set of command lines utils for playback, volume normalization and DC-fixing; double-buffered file input; support for external wave and text editors; a lot of bugfixes.

It supports OSS and ALSA sound drivers, wav, mp3, aiff, cdda, au, snd, raw and standard file streams (all can be used both as inputs and outputs). Effects can be combined both in series and in parallel, while effect parameters can be controlled in realtime with oscillators and MIDI controllers.
